Used striking colors, inspired by 90s cartoons, to convey a surreal, decrepit restaurant. Directed multiple layout artists to ensure stylistic consistency, making sure that the stains, cracks and peeling linoleum add up to a grade-F restaurant experience.
Designed character models in collaboration with teammates and coached animators to make sure they stayed on-model.
Directed live action sequences and tied them in aesthetically by running the whole project through an old VCR. Performed color grading in post to achieve that grimy-but-saturated 90s look.
